- v1.0.31 (8th September 2026)Combined the TCGplayer and Cardmarket price results into a single price table.

- v1.0.29 (7th September 2026)Added a favicon.
- v1.0.28 (7th September 2026)Added a browsable guide to every Pokémon TCG set PokeRox can identify.
- v1.0.27 (26th August 2026)Fixed cards with no listed print rarity (e.g. McDonald's Collection promos) incorrectly showing as "Rare" - they now correctly show as Common.
- v1.0.26 (26th August 2026)Slightly faster automatic card-name reading: dropped a title-crop region that never found a real name in practice, only false-positive noise.
- v1.0.25 (26th August 2026)Moved the "how this works" note below the front photo box, closer to the photo controls it's actually about.
- v1.0.24 (26th August 2026)Improved automatic card-name reading on cards with a textured or gradient background behind the title, rescuing at least one set that previously couldn't be identified automatically at all.
- v1.0.23 (26th August 2026)Checking a card now shares one set-catalog lookup across every identification step instead of repeating it, making the whole check more resilient if the cache is ever unavailable.
- v1.0.22 (26th August 2026)Automatic set-code badge matching is now more precise, only ever considering sets whose printed total actually matches the card.
- v1.0.21 (25th August 2026)Checking a card whose photo is genuinely upside down now retries automatically instead of failing outright.
- v1.0.20 (25th August 2026)Slightly more accurate automatic set identification: dropped a symbol-search region that never found a real set icon in practice, only false-positive noise.
- v1.0.19 (25th August 2026)Improved automatic set identification: modern set-code badges printed as light-on-dark are now read correctly, and the set-symbol search now also checks past a language badge when one sits next to the card number.
- v1.0.18 (24th August 2026)Fixed the enlarged card-strip helper's up/down arrows overlapping each other on a short strip.
- v1.0.17 (24th August 2026)The enlarged card-strip helper also now shows up when the set couldn't be identified, and has up/down arrows to slide the enlarged strip elsewhere on the card.
- v1.0.16 (24th August 2026)When a card number can't be read automatically, an enlarged crop of the card's bottom edge is now shown to help you read and enter it yourself.
- v1.0.15 (24th August 2026)Added a reset button to clear a chosen back photo back to the standard card back.
- v1.0.14 (24th August 2026)The Rarity panel now shows the print-convention symbol (circle/diamond/star(s)) instead of a photo of the card.
- v1.0.13 (24th August 2026)Set and Rarity panels now show their image beside the text instead of above it; Rarity and Secret Rare Status are now a single combined panel with the card's own image.
- v1.0.12 (24th August 2026)Added directional arrows to the front/back photo buttons, and made "Auto-fill from photo" match the main button style.
- v1.0.11 (24th August 2026)Pricing lookups are now cached for a day, so they stay available even when pokemontcg.io is having a rough moment.
- v1.0.10 (24th August 2026)Checking a card now shows TCGplayer and Cardmarket reference pricing, when available.
- v1.0.9 (23rd August 2026)Checking a Pokémon card now also shows a Pokémon panel with its type(s), generation, and evolution details.
- v1.0.8 (23rd August 2026)Added an intro blurb and an expandable "About" section (what cards are supported, how identification works, photo tips) to the homepage.
- v1.0.7 (23rd August 2026)The special/promotional back-photo notice (e.g. a World Championships stamp) now shows as its own panel alongside Set, Rarity, etc. instead of a banner above the Set field.
- v1.0.6 (23rd August 2026)The back photo now supports the same rotate and sideways-detection controls as the front photo.
- v1.0.5 (23rd August 2026)Friendlier message when the site can't reach the API.
- v1.0.4 (23rd August 2026)Replaced the text header with the PokeRox logo.

- v1.0.2 (22nd August 2026)Checking a new card now clears the previous result panels as soon as you change the set or number; the version number in the footer now links to the release notes.
- v1.0.1 (21st August 2026)Replaced the homegrown cookie banner with Google Funding Choices, a certified consent tool required for AdSense to serve ads to EEA/UK/Swiss visitors at all.
- v1.0.0 (21st August 2026)First stable release - no behavior change from v0.1.31, marks the app as production-ready.
- v0.1.31 (21st August 2026)The Card Number field now shows the selected set's total (e.g. "/189") as a hint, without affecting the number you actually enter.
- v0.1.30 (21st August 2026)Added Illustration Rare, Special Illustration Rare, and Hyper Rare as their own rarities instead of lumping them into Ultra Rare/Secret Rare; regulation mark and rarity are no longer picked manually - checking a card now looks both up automatically from its set and number.
- v0.1.29 (21st August 2026)Switched the site's accent color from purple to blue to match the new background image.
- v0.1.28 (21st August 2026)Added a fixed background image behind the page that stays in place while scrolling.

- v0.1.26 (21st August 2026)The rotate button now corrects sideways photos too, not just upside-down ones, and warns you upfront if a photo looks sideways.
- v0.1.25 (21st August 2026)Added a rotate button for an upside-down front photo; card analysis now assumes the photo is already upright by default.
- v0.1.23 (20th August 2026)Faster card identification by skipping lookups for candidate sets that can't possibly match.
- v0.1.22 (19th August 2026)Fixed `/api/analyze` requests timing out on the free-tier server for most photos.
